Advance your skills in fundamental art concepts while exploring a section of the Boston Harborwalk, a 47-mile park along the Massachusetts Bay shoreline. This workshop focuses on the artist's essential tools: composition, line, form, and color.
Learn how to recognize unique perspectives in the environment and match them to camera settings to create the image that you envision. This workshop is geared toward photographers with a good grasp of camera settings, but we're always happy to help if you need a refresher!
If you're interested in connecting with other curious photographers, enjoying the Boston waterfront, and getting inspired by one another to create and learn, this is the workshop for you!
We'll meet in front of the New England Aquarium Whale Watch Kiosk along Old Atlantic Avenue at 6:00 PM.
We will proceed south together, learning about each art concept in turn as we walk along the waterfront. This workshop ends on the other side of the Fort Point Channel, at Fan Pier Park. The total length of our walk is approximately 1.5 miles of flat terrain.
