Our full-day, hands-on course covers the fundamentals of a digital workflow and digital darkroom techniques. RAW capture, importing and cataloging with Photoshop Lightroom, RAW adjustments, editing in Photoshop, and digital printing and web publishing. This course is perfect for serious photographers who want to learn “best practices” for editing and managing their digital photography libraries.

The format of the class is primarily lecture; we will walk through each process step-by-step with ample time for Q&A. We strongly suggest bringing your own laptop and images to work with. Those who have brought their own laptop will be assisted one-on-one in editing and organizing their own images.

The focus of this course is organization, workflow, and non-destructive editing for the beginning to intermediate digital photographer.

Again, we strongly recommend that you bring your laptop and digital files to this workshop, preferably in a camera RAW format (CR2, NEF, DNG, etc.) or in JPEG. If you don’t have a laptop, you are welcome to participate in the lecture.

This class takes place at our office in Hartford, Connecticut.
